A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.
The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:
TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.
They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him.
After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:
TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"
The other friend replied "When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."
LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them.
Do not value the THINGS you have in your life. But value WHO you have in your life!
Dancing in the Rain
I found the above story that I wanted to share with you. To me, it asks the question why carry the hurt from past events when you can let them blow away in the wind? The things that really matter in life should be the one that will always be with you.
Life is too short to not focus on the great stuff we have - live with an attitude of gratitude! Remember a time when you were super motivated, happy and enthusiastic about life? The enthusiasm didn't go anywhere, it is still there within you waiting for you to acknowledge it and accept that it is a part of you, not something you need to find.
What a couple of days I've had, especially with the weather being as wet as it is. If you ever felt like me, that when it rains - it pours, we have a choice. To sit it out or go dance in it, what are you going to choose to do?
I've had lots of stuff to deal with that I was hoping would go away. Surprise, surprise - It didn't! So I'm taking the bull by the horns and showing it who is the boss. Breaking everything down into smaller chunks has made it all manageable, who'd have thought that just getting on with it would actually get it done ;-)

Possibilities
There are no limitations. The world is full of possibilities, you just have to open your eyes and see them. There was a great quote I heard in the new film Wanted
"If no-one ever told you that bullets fly straight, what would you do?"It really makes you think as there is so much action and over the top stunts, yet no-one ever told us that they weren't possible, we just thought that all on our own! What else is there that you don't know is possible because you haven't tried? Great film by the way, much better than the trailer, reminds me of a cross between Fight Club and The Matrix.
