My understanding is that Simon is underscoring the death of property investment "as we know it" - ie the BMV/NMD route that has become received wisdom among professional landlords in the last 5 years. That said, the headline makes good copy, provokes reader interest and - may I add - is refreshingly different from the "I'll make you a millionaire" approach widely available on the net. Keep up the good work
