Glyn, it would likely get them arrested and her majesty take care of their human rights, as it will be labelled 'evidence'.

Will see what the 'authorities' say. If settled out of courts will drop it, else it's likely to make it's way to public viewing, after all it is just a home video of 'suspects'.

What do you make?

In the quest to earn more money in any which way that we can, moving from one get-rich scheme to another - have we forgotten what we are supposed to be making?

Bobby

--------------

While visiting a Swiss town, an American businessman watched a man painstakingly carving the casing for one of the fine cuckoo clocks made in that region.

Noting the slow rate of progress, the businessman said, “My good man, you’ll never make much money that way.”

“Sir,” the clock-maker replied.

“I’m not making money, I’m making cuckoo clocks.”

Banks, Solicitors, Receivers, Ex-Tenants

What do you do when banks, government and dishonest people are busy trying to bend you over and screw you in the ass? Take a stand and say NO!

Then see what happens when the hunters become the hunted as I think it's time to declare that Fair Hunting season is now Open!

It has been an interesting year so far. I've had challenges with tyrannical banks (as they are technically bankrupt!) their Nazi solicitors who don't stand for justice or what is right, only doing as the 'system' says - and Receivers claiming to represent individuals on false pretenses and with a lack of loyalty to the person they owe the care and duty.
  • If you have issues with the Bank of Scotland, Bank Receivers, Bank Solicitors and want to share your experiences and information - then contact me now. Experience and knowledge shared will show who is acting honourably and what you can do in such circumstances when the system judges you guilty before being given a fair trial. You are also welcome to repost this information on any other forum with a link back to here.
Let's not forget the two ex-tenants with outstanding rent; when asked to confirm how much they had paid and to settle the difference, they decided to make a spurious counter-claim instead. Why provide the info and claim fault when you can lie and see how much you can make - blame those where there's blame (sic), there's a claim ads and lawyers. The crazy thing is that the individuals in question are the prime suspects in a criminal investigation for vandalism, upset with the Court Summons they smashed a window where they thought my office was - the CCTV and new cameras came in handy eventually. There is such a thing as justice, no matter how or when it is delivered.

Then to finish off, a property that had been turned into a drug den that was then trashed by the police as well and is now being cleaned up (I've never seen guys that happy as they cleared rubbish, must be something in the spring air). So at least someone has been happy this month.

  • Should any of the cases not be dealt with satisfactorily, then All documents and communication with banks, courts, tenants etc. will be made available public record along with names of individuals, addresses and proven facts to prevent this happening to other people.
If you're prepared to say or do anything then be prepared to stand by it - as your future depends on your reputation and the world is getting smaller (and some of you reading will be getting worried if I'm talking about you!)  You don't mess with someone with nothing to lose, so what's your loss/gain risk ratio?

With Banks not being sympathetic to customers or wanting to help, whilst milking every penny that they can. Having received the taxpayers money from the government they want even more back from the people as well - how many times over do they want us to pay money on fake debts?  Whilst those in Government are fighting over who gets to take and spend more of our money in the future (maybe we should give the Liberal Democrats a try, as they don't have a track record in screwing citizens and people over, yet!)

Who stands a chance to win against fictional corporations, legal systems and liars? Well the honest souls who do what is right and tell the truth of course. After all, words are powerful and the truth rings true, as opposed to the hollow sound that a fraudulent story makes. Bring it on...

[Rant over]

Election Time again - What happens when you vote!?

While walking down the street one day on a Smear Campaign, a "Member of Parliament" is tragically hit by a bus (running on 'green' fuel) and dies.

His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

'Welcome to heaven,' says St. Peter. 'Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you.'

'No problem, just let me in,' says the man.

'Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.'

'Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,' says the MP.

'I'm sorry, but we have our rules.'

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the lift and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people.

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly & nice guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the lift rises....

The lift goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him.

'Now it's time to visit heaven.'

So, 24 hours pass with the MP joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

'Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.'

The MP reflects for a minute, then he answers: 'Well, I would never have said it before, I think heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.'

So St. Peter escorts him to the lift and he goes down, down, down to hell.

Now the doors of the lift open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and rubbish.

He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the rubbish and putting it in black bags as more rubbish falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder. 'I don't understand,' stammers the MP. 'Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable.

What happened?'

The devil looks at him, smiles and says, 'Yesterday we were campaigning.. ...

Eric Daniels the CEO of the Lloyds Banking Group doesn’t answer questions

Above the law? An article about CEO Eric Daniels and buying a bankrupt HBOS for more than the pound t was worth. Share the info, find out where and how they're spending the country's money and screwing the nation for it.

Author: Andrew Withers, January 14th, 2010

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I actually settled down to watch BBC Parliament yesterday. It was the Finance Select Committee asking questions of Eric Daniels the CEO of the Lloyds Banking Group. With a cup of black coffee and a sandwich, I listened with opened mouthed incredulity at what was being said.

Now Mr Daniels I have to say deserves his job. Not for his business acumen (that is in severe doubt) but for a sphinx like demeanour and general coolness under fire that was quite impressive.

However let’s get down to brass tacks. HBOS was a basket case when the Treasury approached Lloyds, which was in relatively fine fettle. It was clear from the questioning from a Labour MP, whose name currently escapes me, that the Government and Treasury had got to the stage were HBOS was getting to the point where a decision had to be made not to accept any further business. That would have precipitated another catastrophic run like Northern Rock.

Daniels was constantly pressed on whether he was told this information directly by the Treasury. He did not give a straight answer. He repeated a mantra that ‘he was made aware of the serious nature of the situation’. Being a simple sort of lad, this seemed to me to require an answer- yes or no. The Treasury appears not to have passed this information on and Daniels did not ask the question.

We appear to have two sides not applying the KISS principle (Keep It Simple Stupid), everybody being too busy being very clever and urbane whilst playing with other peoples’ money. The Treasury with ours, Daniels with Lloyds shareholders.

Then came the point of due diligence. Despite there being ‘a serious situation’, this is where HBOS was about to close is doors to new business (bankrupt) Daniels and his team did ‘ the appropriate amount’ of due diligence (prior legal briefing) this was admitted as being around 25%-50% of what was required in the ‘time allowed’. Lloyds then ‘valued’ the shares of HBOS at £2.38 a share and Daniels admitted in making this valuation to shareholders. He omitted though to mention the small fact that HBOS was being propped up with a Treasury loan of £25.4 bn.

The Banking Act 2009 made it possible for the Treasury and Bank of England to keep secret funding assistance in cases where financial stability may be put at risk – introduced in the wake of the run on Northern Rock.

As I said I am a very simple sort of person. It appears to me that HBOS was bust, and Lloyds could have picked up the whole caboodle for £1, as did ING buying Barings after Nick Leeson and the Directors had finished it off.

Who hood-winked who here? Daniels was adamant that nobody from the Treasury had hoodwinked him, and he had not hoodwinked his shareholders.

It is clear what Brown, Darling and the Treasury were getting out of this deal, a get out of jail free card that staved off the collapse of the Labour Government and possibly the end of the Labour Movement. However, what did Daniels hope to get out of this ? That is the question I would have asked. His reputation is tainted, and why he has not been removed by the shareholders is a mystery to me.

Unfortunately Daniels was saved by the inane twitterings of Sally Keeble MP, who asked a sixth form question about why small businesses cannot get loans from Lloyds. Watching her ask a question was like watching teenager who wanted to be taken seriously in a room full of adults.

She must have been asleep when it was being explained that her Government had induced a solvent bank, to take on a bankrupt bank, propped up by a £25.4bn of tax payers’ money at £2.38 a share and that deal had rendered Lloyds insolvent. With us as the taxpayer owning a large chunk of the combined group.

The only thing saved here was the Governments neck. The rest of us have been hood-winked, as have our children and grandchildren who have to pay to sort this out in higher taxes and reduced standard of living.

‘Too big to fail’ is a corrupt way to view ‘protected’ industry such as banking. HBOS should have been placed into administration and broken up into viable smaller regional banks. Each with a remit to indulge in retail and commercial finance. Brown and Darling sought to protect a collapsed monopoly to save face. Hence the chicanery of the Banking Act 2009

This Rotten Parliament has only months to run, it should be consigned to the dustbin of History.

Illegal Does Not Mean Wrong; Legal Does Not Mean Right

I'm sat here looking through some banking contracts on a Sunday afternoon, traditionally a day of rest, as I need to get back to them on a couple of queries that they have not adequately answered. The solicitors keep quoting legal B.S. - allowing them to do pretty much what they want and do not care what is RIGHT.

Morally the banks are as bankrupt as they were before they took YOUR money from the Government. Why is it yours - because you and your future generation will have to pay it back from your pockets! Did you consent to this and do you think it is right? Well the banks and their lawyers will continue to do what they want, as long as people don't stand up for their rights!

Antisemitism and the persecution of Jews represented a central tenet of Nazi ideology. In their 25-point Party Program, published in 1920, Nazi party members publicly declared their intention to segregate Jews from "Aryan" society and to abrogate Jews' political, legal, and civil rights. After their assumption of power, Jews felt the effects of more than 400 decrees and regulations that restricted all aspects of their public and private lives. (Source: www.ushmm.org)

You know what a 'solicitor/lawyer' would argue, as they represented the country's laws and not the human RIGHTS of a human being (that happened to be of a particular background or circumstances). If the latter was true, they would turn down unjust cases and act on the side of justice - without consideration of who was signing their paycheck. Does legalese define justice or that which is morally right?

Below is the definition of legalese and an article I found on "Illegal Does Not Mean Wrong; Legal Does Not Mean Right"

What are your views?

Bobby

Legalese is an English term first used in 1914[1] for legal writing that is designed to be difficult for laymen to read and understand, the implication being that this abstruseness is deliberate for excluding the legally untrained and to justify high fees. Legalese, as a term, has been adopted in other languages.[2][3] Legalese is characterized by long sentences, many modifying clauses, complex vocabulary, high abstraction, and insensitivity to the layman's need to understand the document's gist.

The law states what we can and can’t do. Many people say that something is illegal because it is wrong. This is not always the case and it can sometimes become very subjective on what is right and what is wrong.

I think most Americans are very well-programmed to think in only black-and-white terms. What’s wrong is wrong and what’s right is right. It is usually accepted that what’s illegal is wrong, but that is not the case sometimes. This article lists and discusses some issues and activities that are illegal but may not be wrong. This article does not endorse illegal activity of any kind, it aims to simply challenge the reasoning behind what’s illegal.

For many people, the issue of abortion is either right or wrong. If a woman did not want kids and got pregnant, should she be allowed to have an abortion? Some would say, “If you’re ready to have sex, you should be ready to accept the fact that you may become a parent.” What do you think? What if a woman is raped, could she be allowed then? She had no control in that situation and will have to face the consequences. Roe v. Wade was the landmark case that made it legal for women to have an abortion from the 1st trimester up until certain points in the 2nd trimester, depending on the specific state. Since some states have outlawed it completely and others allow it, the moral statement of whether it’s right or wrong is skewed. We cannot rely on legality to determine whether something is right or wrong. This would be a case when someone’s beliefs would play a major role in determining whether it is wrong or right.

The California State Assembly had laid out estimates this past February (2009) that the legalization of marijuana would raise $1 billion dollars through taxes and creating thousands of green jobs. It is currently illegal in many states to smoke or have marijuana in your possession. Does that make it wrong? For years, people have claimed the medical benefits of marijuana, such as reducing nausea and vomiting as well as helping glaucoma patients. If California ends up legalizing marijuana, where would to take the argument of the “correctness” of its use for other states. If one state legalizes it, it would mean that someone has to be wrong. But they can’t have it both ways. Alcohol and tobacco kills more people a year than marijuana. Of course, many people do not use marijuana because they do not want to break the law, so the numbers are a little skewed. The point is that if other harmful products are available to American consumers, for what reason if marijuana illegal? Comedian Chris rock said that it is illegal because “it comes from brown countries and because the best marijuana is not made in America.” He goes on to say that since white people created cigarettes, they are legal, but since colored people produce marijuana, they do not want brown people to become wealthy. I do not endorse any of these opinions, but simply want to stir up people’s minds and get them thinking and talking. But more importantly, knowing their opinions and being consistent with their beliefs.

Now, of course, there are many things that are illegal and happen to be wrong, such as murder and stealing. But to declare that all things that are illegal were outlawed simply because they were wrong is not correct, although it may have been a reason. For example, drunk driving is illegal and very wrong, in my opinion. It shows very poor judgment on behalf of the drunk driver. Even worse, the other person might lose their life because of the drunk’s fault.

Something that strikes me as odd and terribly inconsistent is that people in general, including the government, believe that killing is wrong. Yet, the death penalty exists in 34 of the 50 U.S. states. If death is wrong, why is the government allowed to kill people? It sends the message that, “you can’t kill people, only we can decide who gets killed.” This helps me prove my point that the legality of an issue cannot be depended on to rule on its morality. Also, soldiers are trained to kill people. I think that the idea of death in today’s world is that only the dangerous and punished should be killed. Where I stand on that, I’m not sure.

Some things that are legal can still be considered wrong, such as prostitution in Las Vegas, pornography, gambling, alcohol, and tobacco. These things are legal, but many people would have an issue in engaging in these activities. Just because something is legal does not mean that it is right.

The purpose of this article is not to encourage illegal activity or behavior. Rather, it is simply to show the average person how we are responsible for our own actions and we are still responsible to think for ourselves. Never believe anything that you have not personally experienced or have reasoned for. When there is any evidence that challenges your beliefs, consider that evidence from neutral standpoint and really try to entertain that evidence for a while and it may change your original standpoint for the better.

Funeral processions and speed cameras

I was driving up the dual carriageway behind a very slow funeral procession as the hearse and family followed to the cemetery. I graciously slowed down and let them proceed without the temptation to undertake like the Kirklee Council vehicle drivers did.

As I got further up, I saw a police officer parked by a speed camera as he was probably maintaining it or changing the film. At the annoyance of getting flashed in the past, I beeped at him three times but did not salute him.

It was then that my sister pointed out the parade of cars in front all slowly moving out of the way... oops... I'd forgotten I was following them.  She asked me if I felt bad about it but why should I? I didn't blow the horn at them but it was nice of them to be considerate and let me pass.

Carlsberg don't do definitions - but if they did, this would be the Definition of 'every cloud has a silver lining'.

Toot! Toot!

I may have behaved like a donkey but the Law is a real ASS!

All parts of the UK to have Mandatory Landlord Licensing

Below is an article I was emailed by Netrent, updating the latest news on the new Mandatory Licensing of landlords and properties. Yet more red tape to provide accommodation to people who want it and are willing to pay what they think is a fair price in terms of market rent.  Once again, the bad/rogue landlords will just ignore it and good landlords 'taxed' even more.

Bobby

"On 24 March the Northern Ireland Executive announced it's intention to implement mandatory landlord licencing. Scotland already has a mandatory licencing scheme and on 3rd February the Government announced it's intentions to bring in mandatory licencing for England and Wales. This means that the whole of the UK will adopt mandatory licencing of landlords in the future.

The response of the Conservative Party, if elected, is to have another review of the Private Rented Sector "to examine how the sector can play an enhanced role in the housing market".

The Private Rented Sector accounts for 13% of the total housing market in the UK, over 2.5 millions homes are privately rented. In the past couple of years we have seen the collapse of Buy-to-Let lending, yet more regulation and the promise of more to come. Most landlords we have spoken to see mandatory licencing as just another stealth tax and they are deeply concerned that the Private Rented Sector is not sufficiently valued by our politicians.

We share those concerns.

There has been a succession of reviews over recent years, surely by now a sensible consensus should have been reached? Whilst the Government and Opposition have made it clear that they want to support British business neither seems to truly value the Private Rented Sector. The Banks that we have bailed out still refuse to offer decent Buy-to-Let mortgages and many have pulled out of the market completely.

The Government wants to start a website to allow tenants to make statements and comments about their landlords. There are no plans for a similar website for landlords to share their experiences about tenants.

The vast majority of landlords try to offer decent, affordable housing. Standards have risen considerably over recent years. The next Government must work with and not against landlords. Regulation must be simplified and applied to all equally. Banks should be made to lend on reasonable terms. Most of all we must learn to value the Private Rented Sector and the one million plus landlords in the UK."
